It’s best to avoid being ‘wishy-washy,’ right? But when it comes to my hair style; I want it different every day depending on my outfit. Sometimes long, occasionally short, a lazy ponytail here, side braid there, and sometimes 70′s layers everywhere. But the reality is my hair grows as slow as molasses. Part of the reason sleeping on satin pillow cases made such a difference for me is because if I don’t take care of my natural hair, it will break off into a matted like mullet. Worse than a Joe Dirt ‘do;’ one morning a few years ago making my Eggo’s, my brothers referred to me as ’Paul Revere.’
That’s why I love clip-in extensions which thankfully have become so acceptable now from celebs to everyday women. (More on that below). We went out the other night in Zurich (sans extensions) in skinny jeans and a striped top inspired by Karlie Kloss in NYC recently…

Sidenote about clip-in hair extensions ~ Although I wear them about 5 days a week, (most recently these c/o 1001 Extensions) this is one of the few posts I’m not. I prefer clip-ins because you can wear them when you feel like it and skip days you don’t. Its the perfect way to add a bit more va-va-volume.
Clip-In Care ~ I always take my hair extensions out at night or I’ll get a major headache and damage my real hair. Then I brush my natural hair, lay down on my Savvy Sleepers satin pillow case and call it a night. Have a great weekend! ~xoDale
