Do you ever find packing for a quick weekend getaway can be more complex than an intense backyard session of Giant Jenga? Part of the reason I started a fashion blog is because I was constantly inspired by other style bloggers to try new looks and trends. When I can’t decide what to wear, I’ll check out some blogs and create the look for less.
Blair from the style blog Atlantic-Pacific recently wore a simple, casual outfit titled ‘On-the-Go‘ I’ll share below. She’s one of my favorite fashionistas mixing in new wearable trends with her classic signature styles. Here’s how I put together her Look-for-Less over the Labor Day weekend while we were in sunny Munich, Germany for our friend’s wedding…
Distressed Jeans ~ Find a pair with minor wear and tear rather than shredded all over and if you’re not into arm party central, try a basic mix of gold and silver.
Sunglasses ~ Not only a staple in her looks, having a few shapes for outfits is key. I recommend a designer staple you feel comfortable wearing 90% of the time, a pair of aviators and trendy seasonal shades like a classic cateye.
Casual Styling Tricks ~ If you don’t have cropped jeans, cuff a skinny pair of jeans. If your top is loose, simply tuck in the front. Also, don’t be shy to mix different shades of brown leather with black or navy stripes.
<DETAILS by Dale> jeans & top ~ H&M, heels (old) ~ Zara, bag ~Hobo the Original, belt (borrowed) ~ Hermes, watch ~ Michael Kors, bracelet ~ Stella & Dot Renegade, shades ~ ALDO (old)
