Pool days are slowly slipping away, but before they’re completely gone there are a few products I discovered this summer that I have to share. Why? Because they will still continue to be fall must-haves in my medicine cabinet especially for evenings out and events.
From the last day in St. Tropez for the honeymoon, here’s the round-up of my TOP 3 summer beauty buys…
1. The Anti-Shine ~ My friend and professional makeup artist, Roxy, who did my makeup for the wedding used Smashbox Photo-Matte Anti Shine and I can’t believe how much of a difference in made during the sweltering ceremony. She applied it to my T-zone before foundation.
2. Where Not to Skimp on SPF ~ For the past 5 years, every single day, I almost never leave the house without applying SPF on my face, hands and my neck. Try out different brands, but I prefer Coppertone for my body and this Neutrogena sheer liquid SPF for my face.
3. Best Faux Glo On-the-Go ~ I mentioned earlier this year I found my new favorite faux tanner, this Fake Bake 60 Minutes Self-Tan Liquid. You are tan in 30 min (although the top color will rinse off in the shower). It’s the best faux color tan I’ve discovered in years and can be applied fast and easy with a hot pink mit (similar to an oven mit and it’s included).
<DETAILS by Dale> tunic c/0 – Calypso St. Barth, Renegade bracelet ~ Stella & Dot, beach bag ~ c/o D&G with cologne purchase, sandals ~ street vendor in St. Tropez, Sensitive sunscreen c/o ~ Coppertone
Thanks for reading and all the nice comments the past couple weeks. Next Monday is the start of the wedding week with posts from the big day, the decor and the dress drama. ~xoDale
