I‘m back in California frantically tying up all of the last minute details before our wedding approaching way too fast. Yesterday, my fiancé and I were in Chico, CA where I’ve driven hundreds of times as Chico State is my alma mater. Navigating the shortcuts through the county farm roads of N. California, one spot always caught my attention. That blip of the map of Cali is Butte City along the Sacramento River. It’s been there forever and doesn’t grow or disappear, but it’s essentially a ghost town. Guess the population of Butte City? I’ll tell you the answer below.
Moving on…summer road trip style for me is comfy, casual, minimally accessorized with a messy pony tail or side braid. I wore a lightweight ivory tank and high-waisted denim shorts on our little jaunt through the corn fields and almond orchards of Nor-Cal…

Have you ever wanted to take a road trip in a certain part of the US…if so, where? PS – the population of Butte City as of 2011 was 71 people. Can you imagine!?
Hope you’re having a great week! See you Friday
