This weekend we went to Santana Row (aka NorCal’s mini Rodeo Drive located in Silicon Valley) for the Spring/Summer Fashion Show. It was time for the 4th Annual Poolside Soiree, where my sister and I had a great time last year, watching Taylor from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills host. This weekend, there were some amazing clothes, sunshine, champagne and one flowy kelly green dress that was our absolute fave…

The Event

The Fashion…Let the Show Begin
This is a unique fashion show, because the designers are stores in Santana Row so it’s a wide variety of styles. Each store is announced before the models emerged from the curtains. My only critiques were that I would have swapped some outfits on some of the models. Also, it’s no big (Victoria’s) secret that I’m a fan of well made enhancing bras. Some models walked out bra-less and the dresses or tops just didn’t fit well, so if there was time while they were changing, I would have added different undergarments. Otherwise, the show was great!

‘What to Wear’ to an Outdoor Fashion Show

Whether you’re going to a wedding, outdoor party or fashion show, keep a couple bright solid dresses or tops in your closet. Pairing a bright dress with a neutral or contrasting bright heels is a simple easy way to pull off spring/summer trends. Then just accessorize with your favorite jewelry. (I’m wearing a yellow Calvin Klein dress I found the night before at TJMaxx)

After we got back to SF, the fashion packed Saturday was only half over. My sister and I rushed over to style Hermione Way for the new reality show ‘Silicon Valley.’ I had to get her ready for a big Grecian house warming party starting at 6 pm. We had 1 hour. I’ll be back Wednesday with my adventures of a two day dress hunt through San Francisco and a behind the scenes look at the night of styling with the final “Greek Goddess” reveal…until then, I have to ask
