While packing for the trip I realized I’d never heard of this clothing line. I googled “WTB” and it turns out the fashion line is called “White Trash Beautiful” (interesting choice) so I had NO idea what to expect people in attendance to be wearing. But I do know my closet doesn’t have a single piece of Affliction or Ed Hardy, so I went with a simple faux snakeskin patterned dress and a pair of heels that aren’t my usual style.
So 3…2…1…Here’s a rundown of the NikkiRich by White Trash Beautiful fashion show and concert:

I brought one of my best friends, Joe, who works as a sound mixer in LA. While he’s not that into fashion, he’s come such a long way from bolo ties and WWF shirts in high school. I’m proud of him. 
The NikkiRich by WTB Fashion Spring 2012 line 
I’m a huge fan of the sheer maxi skirts and thought this dress was pretty for spring/summer.
LOVING THE HAIR: The models were all very pretty, BUT I noticed a huge trend they wore were different types of braids like this model before she walked out with a headband/side pony braid.
As the models walked downstairs, I looked at each outfit of and noticed the line was very unique because there was something for everyone. Some styles were more edgy, other’s feminine or sparkly. Next, the concert…

| Joe was a trooper during the fashion show so I was happy when he ran into one of his favorite Adam Sandler movie characters, Peter Dante, who was super tan outside of a dive bar in Santa Monica. I didn’t know who he was, so apparently I need to watch “Grandma’s Boy.” Gotta love LA.
I’m curious, do you think the name of a fashion line is important to whether or not you’d buy the clothes? (Speaking of design, my blog is going through design changes this week looking NEW soon!) Hope you had a great weekend! |
Wow do I love those shoes!! I really don’t think the design name matters that much although it should be a little random and orginal…if the clothing is great it won’t matter what it’s called!

Hey Dale! Girl you chose a great outfit girl! That dress was rockin and so were your shoes! The designs were really nice. I think in fashion there is some association with the name of the brand. With a label entitled “white trash…” I would expect more super short and ‘out there’ kinda of looks, but that wasn’t the case. If I saw one of their designs and liked it I would buy it. I’m not sure high profile people would, because when asked what they’re wearing they wouldn’t want to offend anyone and say OH WHITE TRASH. So they may be limiting the people that buy just because of their name which is bad. Your pic with Richie is CUTE! He seems like a really nice guy. Well YOU should never feel inferior! Because you look better than some celebrities girl. I’m not just saying it! You exude confidence! Have a great evening!

Great shoes. And I don’t think the name matters too much. Or the designer, unless you’re just buying the name.
But then again, I don’t buy a lot of high fashion pieces… so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

The name of the clothing line would kind of bother me.
I don’t know if I would buy it for the name. I usually first touch a garment, look at it and then go for the label – so i guess if i really liked it I would not care what its called.
However image wise – i would not endorse something called like that.
First of all love the shoes. Excellent edgy choice! Now the name is just a name, usually selected to attention-grab. It works
But you have to LOVE the clothes. And with WTB and the NikkiRich clothes, they do seem to have something for everyone. It’s not trashy- it’s a slight edge to feminine clothing. The custom clothes or the runway lines are more provocative-and bless anyone who can wear them.
Apparently the brand name didn’t match the contents of the collection! i like that long dress!
