This year I was going to refrain, until I got this email from WhoWhatWear yesterday which led me Victoria Secret’s site after #4 caught my eye.
I may not wear them, but I ordered these two yesterday:
1. I’ve read in magazines to apply self-tanner and take your time trying on suits in stores. I prefer to buy them online and try them at home.
2. Try your suit on with wedges or heels. That’s what all the celebs do nowadays when I see them in pool party pics.
3. Buy designs you like, not just what’s “in style” for the season. That’s why I like VS. There are so many different styles and color combos of tops and bottoms you can mix and match to pick exactly what you want.
I LOVE cute cover-ups. I got this H&M one above in lime and hot pink last year.

Got mine from Voda Swim bc they have amazing push up tops, which supposedly increase your size 1-2 cup sizes (although they’re pretty expensive — BUT you can just get the top!). i love it! i have one VS suit which was a steal, though, which also comes in great push-up versions.
obviously this is a personal preference!
Now you got me wanting some cute cover-ups!

Living in Hawai’i bathing suits are a must! I love the white one, the back side is just so cute!

for me, it’s the models that are cute, and not the swimsuits. they’re a bit on the thin side though.
The white one is great, I like it in peach especially. I actually just bought a suit from La Vie en Rose.. still waiting for a time to wear it though.

Great suits! I have thrown in the towel as far as bathing suits go Lol. I live in Seattle which means maybe 2 weeks of summer and I am shy. You are gorgeous though and should go for it! I would get the second suit if I were you!

All my favorites come from VS. They have a great fit up top and do wonders for my less than bountiful chest.

I usually find my swimsuits at Bloomingdale’s.. I typically love ones by Becca, Splendid, and Zimmermann and I find that they are best priced at Bloomies.
I really agree with the tips posted here, but even when buying in a store – make sure you can return it! What a suit will look like in the dressing room is not usually what it will look like when at home, or in sunlight!!
